Island Batik Posy Twist Projects – Part 2!!

Posted on June 10, 2026June 6, 2026 by Jane Hauprich

Today is the second part of showing all of the projects my friends made using the Island Batik (a division of Lumin Fabrics) Collection called Posy Twist!! This Signature Collection is by Jerry Khiev for me!!!

Pam made this amazing quilt. The pattern is called Currents by Brooke Shankland.

DeAnne made this lovely table topper. This is called Love Me Knot by All People Quilt.

Sue made this amazing quilt!! This pattern is called Farmer’s Flowers by Annie’s Attic.

Nancy made this adorable tote bag, which I am in love with!!! This is Bodobo Bags by Ticklegrass Designs.

My friend, Sandra Starley, of Textile Time Travels, made this fun Star Block Pillow!!!

I recently have been seeing this technique called Kinusaiga. Which is all about using fabric on foam board and tucking it in to make beautiful works of art. Here is a simple one that I tried. This was a fun project and I learned a lot through trial and error.

Thanks again for joining me!! Day Two of Show and Tell has been another fun one!! All of the projects have just been wonderful!!! Tomorrow, I will have one last post and will be sharing some more fun quilts with you!!

Contest!!

This week there will be a giveaway!!! Make sure to leave a comment here or on any blog post this week, for a chance to win!!! I am giving away a Fat Quarter Stack of this entire fabric line!!! Plus I also have a charm pack or two to award also!! The Rules: you must reside within the USA (or a USA mailing address) to participate in this contest due to shipping costs.
