This month is the “What’s In Your Bag Challenge”. Island Batik Ambassadors were asked to choose a ByAnnie pattern that they would like to make and to choose the fabric.
I chose the Catch All Caddy 2.0 pattern and fabric from this fabulous Island Batik fabric line called Flora Nova by Kathy Engle. I am thinking that this will be a great Christmas gift for someone!!
Here are the three fabrics that I chose for this project, plus Soft and Stable, which if you haven’t used it before, it is like a very sturdy batting that helps bags keep their shape and stand up well.
As always, the ByAnnie patterns are amazingly written and the step by step directions are wonderful. They have labels for each section to help keep everything organized.
This went together really well and I highly recommend this pattern!!
I love that it has all of these dividers inside, and pockets outside to hold so many different items!
Here are all the pics of the finished bag!!
I am really loving this bag. I really want to keep it for myself, however, It is going to be a Christmas Gift for a quilting buddy, so I can’t wait to see if she likes it too!!!
Special thanks to the companies that provided products for this bag: Island Batik, Schmetz Needles, ByAnnie Bags, and Oliso.
Thanks for following along!!!
That’s a beautiful bag Jane. I’m afraid to make anything other than quilts. Maybe I’ll look at these patterns.
You can do it!! Her patterns are great!! Just make sure you follow the directions a step at a time and watch her YouTube tutorials. It all helps!!
It looks like a great bag! Lucky friend. Maybe you can make another one for your use. Have a fabulous day!
I love your Catch All Caddy! These colors are so fun, I am sure your friend will be totally delighted with it!
