I hope everyone is doing well.
If you remember, In July I taught a class and did a lecture at AQS Syracuse. During the lecture, I shared how I go about deciding how to quilt my quilts, and also had students bring in quilt tops to try to get ideas of how to quilt them.
Much to my surprise and delight, I received an email from a quilter that attended my lecture and she also sent me a picture of the finished quilt.
Here is the content of her email:
Hello Jane,
I attended your lecture at Quiltweek in Syracuse last July. I had a quilt with me asking for suggestions. I finished it this week, and thought I’d share it with you. This is a close up shot, as the full one doesn’t show the quilting very well.
I want to thank you for sharing your experience and skill with the rest of us, and giving me the confidence to do more of this kind of quilting!
Martha
I also thought I would attach a couple of links to her blog, as she talks about the lecture and then about finishing this quilt.
It does my heart so good to know that I was able to help someone with even a little bit of information or encouragement!!
Here are a couple of the latest quilts I have been working on……
Happy Quilting!!
