It is so hard for me to believe that it is already mid-July!!! I realize it has been a little while since I have written, so I thought I would take an opportunity to at least show you some customer quilts that I have worked on over the past several week!!
This quilt was made by Beth, who lives in Texas. It was such a bright and cheery quilt!!!
This applique quilt was put together by Sharon, however one of her family members had done the hand applique blocks. They were gorgeous!!
This quilt was made by Ellen, and I was stumped as to how I was going to quilt it, and then this just sort of happened! I really love this!!!
As a Handi Quilter Educator, I have to have samples for all the classes I will teach for them, so I have been trying to get a sample done here and there in between customer quilts. Here are a couple of samples.
I also recently participated in a Vintage Quilting Challenge, and this was what I sent off for my offering. I found this piece of silky type fabric on the close out rack at JoAnn’s and thought it would make the perfect backing to the vintage linen. This was a lot of fun to do!!!
I hope you all are enjoying your summer!! I am off to teach at Syracuse AQS later this month and will update you after I get back!!!
Happy Quilting!!
The dimension of your quilting in the Vintage Quilting Challenge quilt is amazing. The whole quilt looks like it ebbs and flows just like the bay. Gorgeous!
Mindy – Thank you!!! I think a lot of that is the fabric that I used. 🙂
