I wanted to take an opportunity to show you the patterns that I have designed for this fabulous fabric collection. Island Batik (a division of Lumin Fabrics) knocked it out of the park with this collection!!! Jerry Khiev did such a beautiful job with this collection and as I said in my last blog post, I am honored to have my name attached to it!!!
Here are the patterns that I designed around this fabric line!!!
First up is Garden Trails. This is a fun pattern, that is very user friendly, and is also AccuQuilt Friendly.

My friend, MaryGin, also made one of these to try out my pattern. Here is her quilt!!!

I always love her backs!!! They make these quilts double sided!!!
Next up is Spinning Blooms!! This is more of a throw size quilt. I designed this as a very beginner friendly quilt. It helps with learning HSTs (Half Square Triangles) and pinwheel blocks. It would be great to use to teach from or to make a simple and quick quilt for someone. Playing around with colors could really make a huge difference in this quilt!! All of my quilt patterns come with a coloring page, so you can design the colors you want to use.

Here is MaryGin’s quilt that she made to test my pattern. You have to love the setting for this one!! This was made using her own fabrics. I just love it!!!
The next one is called Starlight. This is a fun one to make and has a wonderful secondary star pattern behind the blocks. It truly looks a lot more difficult than it is.
MaryGin made this one also. Can I just say how thankful I am to her for testing my patterns so willingly!!!! I absolutely love how she played around and did three different colors for the secondary background stars!!! And of course, she always has the best photo shoots!!!
And last but not least is Campanula!!! I am in love with this one. This is a raw edge applique wall hanging. I had so much fun creating and making this one!!! While there were a lot of pieces to cut out, I found it so satisfying in the end!!!
Campanula has three full size pages in the pattern to help with your tracing and placement, along with instruction pages and a coloring page.

I had a great time making all of these patterns and quilting all of them. When you design for a fabric company catalog, you literally have about 8 weeks to get all of the quilts made, quilted, bound, labelled and shipped off to their offices. It’s quite the production!!!
All of these patterns are available on my website and on my Etsy shop, as both PDF versions (except Campanula) and physical patterns.
For the next two blog posts about this collection, I will be showing all of the projects that others have made using this fabric line. I can’t wait to share all of these amazing projects. I am hoping to get both of those blog posts out over the next two weeks. On a side note, my daughter had a baby a couple of weeks ago, and they are living with me, so I am getting easily distracted these days…..lol!!!
Not only that, but I will be having a GIVEAWAY with those postings. You definitely don’t want to miss that!!!! I have two Fat Quarter bundles along with several charm packs that I plan to giveaway between my blog post and on social media!!!
If you aren’t following me on Facebook or Instagram, make sure to follow me there.
Happy Quilting and see you soon!!!

Love them all.
