Well, the last several weeks have been a whirlwind of travel and very little quilting. But I did take pictures along the way!!
Here is a recap of my adventures:
First, I went to Logan, Utah to Stylish Fabrics to teach at a Handi Quilter Event. What a lovely shop and students!! If you are in Logan, Utah, make sure to stop in to this wonderful shop!!
The scenery when driving from Salt Lake City Airport to Logan, Utah was just amazing!!
Not only did I get to teach at this lovely quilt shop, but one of my educator sisters and friend, Kelly and her family happened to be in Logan, and I was able to have dinner with them. When you travel, dinner time and evenings can be somewhat lonely, so this was a real treat for me!!
Next up, was a trip to Stroudsburg, PA to Pocono Sew and Vac for a Handi Quilter Event. Again, it was a lovely drive and a wonderful event filled with great students!! The store and staff at Pocono Sew & Vac were wonderful.
I then turned around three days later and flew to Houston, Texas for the International Quilt Festival and to work in the Handi Quilter Booth. What a treat it was to actually attend the Houston Show and as always, it is such fun to chat with customers and help support the Handi Quilter classrooms. The first day there, we had the opportunity to spend some time walking around the show and shop, which was such a treat!!!
And then look who stopped in the Handi Quilter Booth to try out the newest longarm, the Amara…..none other than Jamie Wallen!!
Two days after returning from Houston, I was off again to a Handi Quilter Event in Denver, Colorado. Denver Sewing & Vacuum had a hands on event, where the students were able to have a Longarm machine to work on during class. This was such a fun event and was for four days.
All in all, it was a great few weeks, but it has taken me a few days to finally catch my breath. I am now ready to hit the ground running with the Holidays coming!!
I am so blessed and thankful for all of you!! I hope that you all have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!!!!
Happy Quilting!!
