So, what a wonderful time I had teaching at the AQS Fall Paducah show!!!
This year I was a part-time teacher with four classes and one lecture.
My students were amazing and worked so hard during class. Not only that but the machines we got to work on (provided by Handi Quilter and Janome) were wonderful.
I also did a lecture on Making Negative a Positive. It was all about handling negative space. I think it went really well!!!
A restaurant was recommended and of course we had to try it….and I can wholeheartedly say it was The Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted!!! The Gold Rush has some fabulous food!!!
They also had some cute signs hanging up.
All in all it was a fantastic time!!
On the heels of the Fall Paducah show, I found out that one of my quilts and a customer quilt both won Second Place in their categories at MQX Midwest.
