I do both custom quilting and computerized edge to edge. My books are currently closed for 2024 custom quilts. I will make a social media announcement when my 2025 calendar opens up. Custom quilts are placed on a schedule, and computerized edge to edge (overall patterns) are done in between custom quilts.
FANTASTIC WEBSITE. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, Mary!!!
Thank you so much for the great trunk show you had at Cottonseed Glory yesterday. You are a very talented artist and a good speaker/presenter. It was a very inspiring day. Thank you also for quilting Freda’s quilt. She was a very special lady and she would have been very pleased with your work. Having her husband there to receive it and seeing it finished really touched my heart. Hope to see you more at Cottonseed, Ramona
Ramona – What a pleasure it was to do a trunk show for the HandiQuilter Club yesterday!! I am so glad that you enjoyed it!! While I didn’t know Freda, it was such an honor to quilt her final quilt!! I am sure I will see you at Cottonseed!!
The trunk show at Cottonseed Glory was very inspiring. I was the one that has the Sweet Sixteen and still having problems with learning the tension, but you inspire me to keep at it. I did not know Freda, but it was beautiful, and loved the way you quilted it, it will be a treasure to whoever receives the quilt. Hope to see more of you and will be reading your blog! What was the pineapple lady website? I must of written it down wrong, thanks!
Cathy – Thank you so much for coming to the trunk show yesterday!! I had an awesome time!! You will get the hang of the tension thing. Watch Jamie Wallen’s tension video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1mRhcquZTM.
For the information for the curved rulers you can email Linda Hrcka at: thequiltedpineapple@gmail.com or you can contact her through her website: wwww.thequiltedpineapple.com.
I did not know Freda either, but I felt like I got to know her through her quilt and through emailing back and forth with her husband. Thanks again for coming yesterday!!
I just placed an order for 2 of your workbooks and 1 whole cloth on black fabric but know where did it ask for my name or address information so I’m sending it to you this way
Pam
Pam – your order went out in the mail today!! Thank you for the order!! Let me know how you like everything!! Merry Christmas!!
Trying to order 2 workbooks and whole cloth practice piece. When I hit PayPal icon, it just shows my summary page, not ordering info. Please how can I get the order to go through. Thank you.
Hi, tried again to place order and I was successful. it worked on the computer, not I[ad. Can’t wait to get to get workbooks. Really enjoyed your video on you tube. Thank you, Mar Alice Blake
Thank you for your order!! It will be going out in tomorrow’s mail. Thanks for watching my video!!
I received two of your workbooks today and absolutely love them! I am placing an order for two more to have the entire set. Being able to sit down and use the transparent sheets to practice works very well for me. Just in a few minutes my feathers were looking better. Thank You!
Terry – I am so happy that you liked my workbooks!! It’s all about practice….isn’t it?!?! Your order will be going out in the mail tomorrow. Thank you!! Merry Christmas!!
I checked with our bookkeeper and a check will go out this week for the first order. I would have called but I didn’t have a phone number.
Thanks,
Bonnie
I recently purchased your double curvy ruler. Is there a tutorial for using it?
I am away teaching but hope to get a tutorial posted next week.
Jane: How are you getting to Paducah for the show….flying, driving, walking? Is anyone else from here going to the show? My cousins, in Metropolis – just over the bridge from Paducah, want me to come and visit and they thought this might be a good time. Can you give me a shout-out? Thanks!
And BTW, I hope you don’t mind but I posted your blog on the Janome 1500 fb page about your England experience. There are quite a few gals from England, Wales, Australia and NZ who have Janome 15000s.
I am flying into Nashville and driving over, as I don’t have the time to drive this year. You should definitely go with your cousins!! It’s a really nice town and show!!
No problem with sharing my post….I appreciate that!!
Hi Jane,
I just watched “Elements of Change” on HQ Live and I am wondering if those designs pressions are available on paper or for download. I think practicing those might get me “thinking outside of the proverbial box”.
Your HQ Live sessions are always fantastic and what a great job to live in the World of Quilting!
Thank you

Hi! Thanks for watching my HQ Live!! I had so much fun filming that!! I do not have any of those printed out, but if you go to: https://handiquilter.me/ruler-of-the-month/ , they have lots of great ideas you can download and use with many of their rulers. I hope this helps!!!
I am taking your beginner course on quilting with rulers at MAQ. While looking for a ruler foot for my Brother SB3129, it seems everyone wants to sell me a starter kit with several rulers with it. Can you tell me what ruler(s) we will be working with in class? As well, do you know where I could just purchase the ruler foot for right now? Does your store sell any? Thanks.
Trying to place an order but having problems with it.
I attempted to order all four of your design workbooks, especially the feather workbook, but I received two of the free motion design book. I would like to return one and receive the feather book I tried to order.
Thank you

Jane,
I was in your class recently at Road to California on negative space. I didn’t submit a quilt to discuss but I do have one that I would like some ideas for. Do you do private consultations? I am not in a hurry
I so enjoyed your class and it was much more than I had hoped for, since I did not know of your work prior to the class. I was quite impressed with your work and your approach to quilting.
I, obviously, would expect to pay you for your time
Thanks, Teddy Wenner
Hi! I ordered your Feather workbook online on Tuesday, Feb. 9. I do not know if the order went through. It is pending on my credit card. I have not received a confirmation email for the order. Would you please kindly check into this for me.
Thank you,

I am interested in the upcoming ruler class and wanted to know what rulers were needed? I am new to this technique and didn’t want to purchase things I wouldn’t need for this class, Thank you-Brenda
Hi Jane
I had contacted you about a ruler class and I believe the end result would be the ability to quilt the dream big panel. Of course I can’t find your reply but I thought it was moved to October. Looking on your website I’m wondering if the feather class starting today is the class I’m referring to?? Sorry for the confusion!?! Thanks- Brenda Zimmerman
PS. Would it be too late to sign up for the one today if it’s the one I’m thinking about?

I tried to purchase some practice panels using a credit card. However the only way I could complete the purchase was to create a PayPal account, not just enter my credit card number. Any way I can purchase the practice panels?
Thanks Teddy
For the Free Motion Quilting Practice Panels 1 & 2, where can I find videos, if available? Instructions mention quilt path tips available (free downloads).
Found the Feathers Wholecloth video.
Hello Jane,
I am interested in having a quilt custom quilted. It is one of the raggedy rose quilts, I think it is called French Rose. Are you familiar with it and is it something you would do? Also, how far out are you on your custom quilts? I hope it is something you would take on. I do love your quilting pictures!
Looking forward to hearing from you and any info you can share.
